Kurt Angle increased the stakes for his WrestleMania 35 match big time by announcing that it will be his farewell bout on this week’s episode of Raw.
Since then people have been giving their opinion on who should be Angle’s final opponent and fellow Hall of Famer Mick Foley has an interesting choice.
In a recent talk with Sky Sports, Foley talked about the Olympic Gold Medallist’s announcement and picked Drew McIntyre to be his WrestleMania opponent.
Foley recalled how Drew beat Kurt with his own finishing maneuver. He said that the former World Champion is the most competitive person he has ever met and it will be the biggest match of Drew’s career:

The moment Foley talks about happened in November last year when McIntyre forced his opponent to tap out using Angle’s own Ankle Lock submission.
So it would make sense for WWE to follow up on this story and have the Scottish Psychopath face Kurt Angle once again at the upcoming PPV.
However, based on the events of Raw, it appears that WWE is planning for Drew to face Roman Reigns at the show and so this match isn’t very likely to take place.
