Mick Foley Talks About Mistakenly Texting Vince McMahon, WrestleMania & More

The following are highlights of a new Boston Herald interview with Mick Foley:

The WrestleMania XXX seats he and his family received: “I loved going to this past WrestleMania. But essentially my family and I sat watching a huge screen while the wrestlers appeared to be of ant-like proportion in a ring 100 yards away from us. At the Kowloon, we’re up close and personal.”

Meaning to send a text to Brie Bella and accidentally sending it to Vince McMahon: “I was sending a text message, one I thought I was sending to Brie, and I told her I was going to get in touch with (WWE CEO Vince) McMahon. I rarely interfere in the course of WWE events, but when I do, I like to think my opinion carries some weight. I sent what I thought was my message to Brie, saying, ‘Give Daniel a hug and tell him how wrong I think this whole thing is.’ I was pretty new to the iPhone. My son looked at my phone and said, ‘Dad, you just sent that to Mr. McMahon.’ My next message was, ‘Oops.’”
