New SmackDown Star Appears In Unaired Segment

WWE had announced that the former Cruiserweight Champion and 205 Live Star Buddy Murphy is being drafted to SmackDown Live during the Superstar Shakeup this year.

Murphy made his first appearance for the brand in an unaired segment during this week’s episode of the show and he cut a promo during a commercial break.

In the promo which WWE later posted on their YouTube account, Buddy introduced himself. He then took a jab at Ali saying that he won’t be winning the Money In The Bank and claimed that everyone will know his name once he debuts for SmackDown:

Heavy Machinery Competes Before The Show

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live was broadcasted from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky and it once again saw a couple of recent NXT call ups in a dark match.

The dark match which took place before the show started airing saw the team of Otis and Tucker collectively known as the Heavy Machinery competing in a tag team match.

This duo faced the unlikely team of Shelton Benjamin and the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and the former NXT Tag Team went on to win this bout.
