– With the fourth season of WWE NXT coming to a close, WWE officials are already planning Season 5 and have decided on a theme. As of this week, WWE is looking to pair up Rookies with their WWE Legend fathers.
Some of the father and son teams WWE could have access to include Richie & Ricky Steamboat, Brett & Ted DiBiase, Bo & Mike Rotundo, among others.
– To follow up on the news that Mexican lucha libre star Mistico has signed with WWE, the EMLL promotion was supposed to hold a press conference earlier this week to discuss the situation, but it was canceled due to unknown reasons.
– This year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be presented by THQ’s new WWE All Stars video game.
– Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been nominated in the Best Actor category for the 2011 Kid’s Choice Awards. Other actors up for the award include Jaden Smith, Jack Black and Johnny Depp.
