Fans Excited As ‘0’ Tease Fuels Speculation On Raw

WWE dropped a cryptic teaser during the December 16 episode of Raw, with fans convinced that this is the tease of a former AEW star. The brief vignette showed a zero with a line through it before transitioning into the Raw on Netflix logo. On social media, many believed that the vignette teased the arrival of Penta El Zero Miedo, potentially as part of Raw’s debut on Netflix on January 6.

Penta was quietly removed from AEW’s roster after his contract expired and has since re-established himself as part of Lucha Libre AAA. His brother Rey Fenix, on the other hand, remains part of AEW, despite not competing for the promotion since July. Reports of injury time being added to Rey’s contract will keep him a part of AEW well into 2025, keeping the brothers from making a debut in WWE as a tag-team.

Buzz is already high at Penta’s potential WWE debut, and this tease being followed by a teas for Raw on Netflix leaving fans to wonder whether his debut will come on the January 6, show. The stacked show already has major names and plans confirmed, with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and more set to appear.

CM Punk Match Confirmed For WWE Raw Netflix Debut

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the ‘0’ tease and whether it is indeed Penta who makes his much-anticipated debut for WWE in the near future.

WWE Raw Spoilers: Taping Results Airing 12/23

WWE taped the December 23 episode of Monday Night Raw tonight from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The taping will allow talents to stay home during the upcoming Christmas week. Below are the complete spoiler results for the taped show:

Drew McIntyre Promo: McIntyre opened the show talking about his recent struggles and called out the fans for ‘instantly forgetting about him’ after he lost the Hell In A Cell match to CM Punk. He said that it was ‘pathetic’ for people to forgive Roman Reigns so easily. This prompted Sami Zayn to confront the former World Champion. Jey Uso came out to help Zayn when a fight broke out and rematch between McIntyre and Sami was made official.

First Round Match In Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament: IYO SKY def. Abla Fyre and Natalya: SKY replaced Kairi Sane in the match after the latter was attacked by Pure Fusion Collective backstage on this week’s Raw.

Singles Match: Chad Gable def. Akira Tozawa: Gable won the match via submission but refused to let go even after the bell. Otis then made the save for Tozawa.

Singles Match: Damian Priest vs. Dominik Mysterio ends in DQ: JD McDonagh dressed as Santa Claus was in Dom’s corner. After Priest laid out McDonagh, Finn Balor and Carlito attacked the former World Champion. The attack continued until War Raiders made the save.

The War Raiders Win WWE World Tag Team Titles On Raw

Singles Match: The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis ends in a DQ: The Final Testament got involved causing the disqualification. The Wyatt Sicks then came out and the segment ended in a big brawl.

New Day Homecoming: Kofi Kingston’s mother was at the ringside for this segment. The duo mocked Wade Barrett for not being ‘man enough’ to wrestle again, comparing him to Big E. Kofi said that his mother didn’t deserve to see her son get booed in his hometown like this.

Singles Match: Drew McIntyre def. Sami Zayn: Jey Uso was in Sami’s corner for the bout. McIntyre pinned Zayn in the rematch for Saturday Night’s Main Event. The new Bloodline showed up after the match and attacked both Zayn and Jey.

WWE also taped the December 20 episode of SmackDown in advance featuring stars such as Kevin Owens, LA Knight and more. You can check out the spoiler for it here.

The War Raiders Win WWE World Tag Team Titles On Raw

The Judgment Day’s reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions came to an end during the December 16 episode of WWE Raw when the War Raiders dethroned Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The finish of the match saw Balor attempt to use a steel chair to intentionally get disqualified, only to be thwarted by Damian Priest. Shortly after, the War Raiders hit War Machine on Balor to secure the win and the titles.

The Judgment Day captured the titles back in June, but their reign drew criticism for a lack of title defenses. In their first 100 days as champions, Balor and McDonagh defended the titles only once on television, with their entire reign featuring just three televised title defenses.

For Erik and Ivar, this victory marks their first taste of championship gold in nearly five years. The pair last held the Raw Tag Team Championships in October 2019, a reign that ended in January 2020 when they lost the titles to Seth Rollins and Murphy. Both Erik and Ivar returned to action this year after injuries kept them sidelined for several months.

After a long road back, the War Raiders have reached the top of the Raw tag team division once again. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest updates on the War Raiders and their reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions.

CM Punk Match Confirmed For WWE Raw Netflix Debut

CM Punk and Seth Rollins are officially set to collide as part of WWE RAW’s historic debut on Netflix, scheduled for January 6, 2025. The announcement was made during a backstage segment taped for the December 16 episode of RAW, further building anticipation for WWE’s streaming era.

During his promo Raw, CM Punk delivered a fiery and confrontational message directed at Seth Rollins. In this segment, Punk emphasized his loyalty to the WWE and its fans, contrasting it with Rollins’ perceived abandonment of the company. He stated, “You belong in the audience with the rest of the CM Punk fans,” suggesting that Rollins is out of touch with the wrestling community. Punk further asserted that while he had carried the company on his back, Rollins had left it behind, claiming, “If anyone should be embarrassed it’s you because this fan he’s got more WrestleMania Main Events than you ever will.”

The tension escalated as the crowd rallied behind Punk, chanting his name and urging him to confront Rollins directly. The promo was not just a verbal exchange but also set the stage for a physical confrontation, which fans eagerly anticipated. This moment was a significant highlight of the show, showcasing Punk’s ability to engage the audience and reignite old rivalries.

The star-studded Netflix debut is shaping up to be a massive event, with major matches already announced, including Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa. However, Punk vs. Rollins stands out as a centerpiece of the evening, given their heated rivalry that has captivated fans for months. Tensions between the two have remained at an all-time high, fueled by Punk’s blistering promos and Rollins’ open disdain.

Taking place at the state-of-the-art Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, WWE is pulling out all the stops to ensure RAW’s Netflix launch delivers an unforgettable night. With top-tier names like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and now CM Punk and Seth Rollins, the January 6 event promises blockbuster action from start to finish.

The clash between Punk and Rollins adds another layer of intrigue to RAW’s next chapter. Will Punk make a triumphant statement in his return, or will Rollins solidify himself as the face of WWE’s new era? Combined with Roman Reigns’ high-stakes battle against Solo Sikoa, this event is set to reshape WWE’s future and deliver a must-see spectacle for fans worldwide.

Becky Lynch Lands Role in ‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ on Paramount Plus

The series, which will stream on Paramount Plus, is slated to begin production in August and is expected to premiere in early 2026. Lynch shared the exciting news with fans on social media, expressing her enthusiasm for joining the iconic franchise.

“You know, when you’ve already been champion of the world, there’s really only one place to go next, and that’s to the stars,” Lynch said. “I am so excited to share with all of you that I am joining Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as part of the bridge crew. And lads, this has been the most incredible experience acting alongside just a spectacular cast and crew. I cannot wait for all of you to check it out when it comes out on Paramount+. And hey, live long and prosper.”

The series brings back several Star Trek favorites, including Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly (Star Trek: Discovery), Tig Notaro as Jett Reno, and Oded Fehr as Admiral Charles Vance. According to the official description, Starfleet Academy will follow a young group of cadets navigating the challenges of becoming Starfleet officers while facing rivalries, friendships, first loves, and a new threat to the Federation.

Lynch’s role places her among the bridge crew, though details about her character remain under wraps. The show has already been renewed for a second season, underscoring Paramount’s confidence in the series.

While Lynch is expected to return to WWE television in early 2025 following her current hiatus, this marks a significant step in her acting career. Fans can look forward to seeing her in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which promises to deliver a mix of hope, drama, and the spirit of exploration synonymous with the Star Trek universe.

Kurt Angle Jokes Vince McMahon’s Afterlife ‘Won’t Be Heavenly’

Kurt Angle recently joked that an eternity of hellfire and brimstone awaits his former boss Vince McMahon given the billionaire’s behavior. Reflecting on his time working with the former WWE CEO, Angle shared a damning assessment during a conversation with Inside the Ropes.

“He does some crazy sh*t, and for a guy who’s the owner and CEO of a company, it’s like, ‘What the f**k, man? You’re the boss. You can’t be doing this stuff.’”

Angle also suggested that McMahon’s actions won’t go unpunished in the afterlife, adding, “He’s going to hell when he dies.” During the interview though, Angle also praised McMahon’s work ethic that turned WWE into the premiere name in professional wrestling. The Olympic Gold Medalist also commended McMahon’s mind for the business that allowed him to fend off rivals, including WCW.

McMahon’s legacy has faced intense scrutiny in recent years, particularly following the hush money scandal of 2022 and the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant earlier this year. The allegations against McMahon extend beyond Grant’s case. He is also named in a separate lawsuit alleging he was aware of the sexual abuse of underage ‘ring boys’ by former WWE employee Mel Phillips but failed to intervene. This lawsuit, brought by five anonymous former ring boys, also names Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO Group Holdings.

Despite the ongoing legal battles, McMahon has plans to launch a new film and TV production company. However, it appears unlikely that the 79-year-old billionaire will return to the world of professional wrestling promotion anytime soon. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Vince McMahon’s legal and professional developments, as Kurt Angle suggests that the pearly gates may not be in his future.

Grayson Waller: Travis Scott Has What It Takes For WWE

When WWE Raw moves to Netflix in just three weeks, Travis Scott will play a key role in proceedings. Not only will the award-winning artist provide the new theme for Raw, but Scott will also give a live perfomance on the show. Now, Grayson Waller is ready to see more from Scott in WWE, including a potential in-ring role, as he told Phil Fresh this week:

“I think he does have what it takes because he’s obviously a big fan… Travis knows what he’s doing, and the Hardcore title means he’s not afraid to use weapons.”

Waller added that, unlike Scott, many celebrities brought into WWE don’t know what they’re doing in the ring, though stopped short of naming names. Waller is no stranger to celebrity involvement, as he and Austin Theory were on the recieving end of a beatdown at SummerSlam by Awesome Truth and Jelly Roll.

Scott’s love for wrestling is no secret, and Mick Foley has shared his support for Scott using the ‘Cactus Jack’ moniker for his record label. Earlier this year, Scott was presented with a brand-new WWE Hardcore Championship by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, in recognition of Scott’s love for all-things WWE.

Travis Scott will have a huge role to play come January 6, but will his presence on Raw’s Netflix debut extend past a music performance and into the ring? Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Scott’s relationship with WWE, as Grayson Waller is sure he’d belong in the ring.

Chelsea Green Celebrates Historic WWE Title Win at Disney

For decades, Super Bowl winners have celebrated their wins by declaring that “I’m Going to Disneyland!” to mark the occasion. At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green became the first WWE Women’s U.S Champion, and she too celebrated in the Magic Kingdom.

True to her word, Green celebrated her win in Disneyland alongside her husband Matt Cardona. Days ahead of his ROH World Title showdown at Final Battle, the Indy-God staked his claim to his wife’s championship reign.

Green herself added a unique accolade to her reign, pointing out (via default) that she is the longest-reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion in the history of wrestling.

Green became the first-ever champion by besting Michin in the finals of a tournament that has been going on for weeks. The self-professed Hot Mess defeated Blair Davenport and Bianca Belair in her first-round triple-threat match before defeating Bayley in the semi-finals. The win marks Green’s first title in WWE since 2022 and her first singles title ever with the promotion.

Fans can expect quite the celebration from Green this Friday when she returns to SmackDown as the brand-new champion. The December 20, show will air from the XL Center in Hartford, CT, with much of the show already being taped to give talent time off for the holidays.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Chelsea Green as the new Women’s U.S. Champion is making sure everyone knows of her historic victory.

  • WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser

‘Hangman’ Page Talks Movesets, CM Punk Says Term Is Used By Idiots

CM Punk’s issues with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page are seemingly not over yet, despite the pair no longer being a part of the same wrestling promotion.

The issues between the two resumed on social media this past weekend, when Page spoke about his moveset, and his hope that whoever uses his moveset next being “kinda cool.” Though the Cowboy didn’t specify, many took this as a nod to Logan Paul, who has used Page’s signature Buckshot Lariat in matches.

image 5

After Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk was interviewed by Jackie Redmond and Peter Roseburg, the latter of whom spoke highly of the moveset of WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware. This comment irked Punk, who believes it’s foolish for somebody to use the moveset term, especially if they’re a wrestler.

“It’s garbage. If you say that, you’re an idiot. Especially if you’re a wrestler, and you say ‘moveset.’ That 100% tells me you don’t know what the hell you’re doing.”

Punk didn’t mention Page by name, but fans online certainly spotted a connection between their two comments. Punk infamously called Page an “empty-headed f***ing dumb f**k” during his now-infamous AEW All Out 2022 post-show media scrum rant. Punk’s comments, and a backstage fight with The Elite, would see both sides suspended, andthe incident would forever change Punk’s relationship with AEW.

CM Punk: I Feel Like I Wasted Matches On Some AEW Wrestlers

CM Punk has been scandal free since his return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, though it’s clear his view on ‘Hangman’ Adam Page hasn’t warmed. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on CM Punk, as leaving his AEW issues in the past is proving easier said than done.

Cody Rhodes Injury Update Following Kevin Owens Attack at SNME

The return of Saturday Night’s Main Event delivered a thrilling conclusion, with Cody Rhodes successfully retaining the Undisputed WWE Title. However, the celebration was cut short after the broadcast when Kevin Owens launched a brutal assault on Rhodes.

WWE confirmed earlier today that Rhodes sustained cervical swelling and was kept overnight at a local hospital for observation.

While X-rays showed no fractures, he has been diagnosed with axial compression of the cervical spine and a cervical strain with spasm.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Cody Rhodes’ recovery and any potential disciplinary actions against Kevin Owens.

Matt Cardona Reveals the Flirty Origin of His Iconic WWE Catchphrase

Matt Cardona’s desire to pick up girls at the bar led to him creating his iconic ‘Woo Woo Woo’ catchphrase used during his WWE career. Before he was the ‘Indy God,’ Cardona competed for years as Zack Ryder, and was instantly recognizable with his spiked hair, sunglasses, and chant of ‘Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!’

Speaking to RJ City on the latest episode of Hey! (EW), Cardona shared how the catchphrase came to be.

“It was what I would say to girls in the club. A hot girl [would] walk by and I’d say ‘Woo woo woo.’ It was so annoying and ‘I said I can use this on TV and get it over.’ And look what happened.”

Cardona’s time on the dating scene would eventually lead him to Chelsea Green, and the couple were introduced to one another by Cody and Brandi Rhodes. Cardona and Green married on New Year’s Eve 2021 in Las Vegas, and teamed together on the independents.

Cardona & More React To Chelsea Green’s WWE Women’s U.S. Title Win

With his Woo Woo Woo-ing days behind him, Cardona has reinvented himself as a major player since his WWE release in April 2020. Next week, Cardona will challenge ROH World Champion Chris Jericho at ROH Final Battle 2024. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Matt Cardona as the Indy God continues to prove himself outside of WWE.

Hulk Hogan Appears At UFC Tampa as Colby Covington Suffers Defeat

Hulk Hogan did not appear at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, as the Hall of Famer instead played a role in the main event of UFC Tampa. Hogan was part of the entourage who walked out with Colby Covington for his fight against Joaquin Buckley. Not only did Hogan back Covington for his walk-out, but the fighter also entered to Hogan’s iconic WWE theme song.

Despite Covington having the power of Hulkamania on his side, this wasn’t enough for him to secure the win. Buckley defeated Covington via TKO in the third round as doctors ruled that Covington was not in a fit state to continue.

Hogan and Covington have both been vocal with their support for President-Elect Trump, with Covington arriving at the arena with a pendant of Trump’s head. Trump was present at UFC 296 when Covington lost to Leon Edwards, but didn’t stick around for Covington’s post-fight comments, many of which spoke highly of Trump.

Hulk Hogan Hints at Joining Trump Administration as Fitness Advocate

Hogan’s appearance at UFC Tampa further demonstrates the ties between WWE and UFC that grew stronger last year with the launch of TKO Group Holdings. Since then, Superstars have regularly been sighted at UFC events, which Michael Chandler called out Conor McGregor during an episode of WWE Raw earlier this year.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Hulk Hogan, as the Hall of Famer continues to make his presence felt in and out of WWE.

Bill Goldberg Eyeing 2025 Royal Rumble Before WWE Retirement

Bill Goldberg will compete in his final match in 2025, but fans may still see the WWE Hall of Famer wrestle in a Men’s Royal Rumble match. When speaking to Sportskeeda, Gage Goldberg, Bill’s son, was asked about the WWE Hall of Famer entering next year’s match to earn a future WWE World Championship opportunity.

“He’d definitely do it. He’d be down for anything. They tell him, ‘Okay, you’re gonna fight this guy,’ he’s gonna do it 100%. Go in the Royal Rumble? He’s gonna do it.”

Should he compete in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble, it’ll mark his third time in the iconic match stipulation. Goldberg made his Rumble debut in 2004, where he entered from the coveted #30 spot. He lasted 2:04 and scored three eliminations before being tossed out by Kurt Angle. In 2017, Goldberg 3:21 and again scored three eliminations, but this time was eliminated by The Undertaker.

The elder Goldberg shared in November that his final match will come in 2025, though stopped short of giving a specific date. At Bad Blood, Goldberg had a confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, leading to speculation that Bill’s final match will be against the Ring General. WWE has yet to follow up on this storyline on TV, with Goldberg instead feuding with Damian Priest and Finn Balor and defeating both to retain his title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Questions remain about Goldberg’s plans for 2025, but fans shouldn’t be surprised to see him on February 1, at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Goldberg as he embarks on his final year in the ring.

Kevin Owens ‘Explains’ Post Saturday Night’s Main Event Attack On Cody Rhodes

Kevin Owens has given his version of the events that followed his loss to Cody Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The ending of the bout at the WWE show saw KO introducing a chair to try and take out his opponent. In the end, however, Cody managed to take advantage of it himself and he pinned Owens after delivering a Cross Rhodes on the chair.

When the company posted the footage of Kevin attacking the American Nightmare following the show, the former champion responded. He claimed that he sent the crowd home happy after the referee screwed him out of a WWE championship victory.

The former Universal Champion also reacted to the video of Triple H shoving him on the ramp on his way back. Kevin Owens rationalized it as the WWE CCO thanking him for the full house:

Cody Rhodes had to be stretchered out of the ring after Owens delivered the banned piledriver on the WWE champion. It’s possible that he’ll be kept off TV for a few weeks to sell the attack.

Triple H has not made any public comments on Kevin’s attack despite tonight’s altercation. It’s likely that we’ll see the WWE Executive making an appearance on TV soon to confront the former NXT star.

Apart from this, Saturday Night’s Main Event also featured the finals of the Women’s US Title tournament. You can check out reactions to the crowning of the Inaugural champion here.

Liv Morgan Update After Injury Scare at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Liv Morgan was said to be ok following her Saturday Night’s Main Event title defense.

The Women’s World Champion defended her championship against IYO SKY at the show. Both Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez were at Liv’s side.

The ending of the bout saw SKY hit a running Meteora and she then climbed up the top rope. Morgan, however, countered with a Moonsault of her own and pinned her challenger with an Oblivion.

While Liv successfully retained the title, fans were concerned about the current Champion’s health coming out of the bout. A video of SKY hitting a rough-looking knee to Morgan that went viral made many believe that she might have suffered a broken nose during the match.

PWInsider is reporting, however, that this wasn’t the case. The Judgment Day star somehow managed to avoid any injury and she was said to be ok after the bout.

Rhea Ripley came out to confront Morgan on the ramp as the women’s champion was making her way back. This suggests that we’ve not seen the last of this rivalry and the two female stars will meet again down the road.

Apart from this, Saturday Night’s Main Event featured matches such as Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn and the finals of the US Women’s Title tournament.

The closing match of the night saw Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE title against Kevin Owens. Though the night didn’t end with Rhodes’ win and there were some major post-match developments after the show went off air. You can check out more about it here.

Wrestling World Reacts To The First-Ever WWE Women’s U.S. Champion

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, the first-ever Women’s U.S. Champion was crowned, marking the first women’s mid-card main roster title. Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the first-ever champion, after going through Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Bayley to make it to the finals.

Green’s historic win has had the wrestling world talking. Despite being eliminated by Green in the semi-finals, Bayley is excited to see what the new champion does.

Former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin was pleased to see Green win her first singles title in WWE.

Both members of The IIconics/IInspiration were thrilled to see their fellow TNA alum become the first Women’s U.S. Champion.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman believes that Green has already proven herself to be a worthy champion.

As Champion, Green will defend her title on SmackDown on the USA Network, who were pleased for the first-ever Women’s U.S. Champion.

Steph DeLander, who’s been teaming with Green’s husband Matt Cardona on the independents, had a special holiday planned to mark Chelsea’s victory.

And Cardona himself was understandably pleased for his wife. Green wore an attire with one leg cut-off, a nod to Cardona’s early days in WWE as Zack Ryder.

Green’s first singles title win comes seven years to the day that she captured the Impact Knockouts Championship in TNA Wrestling. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Chelsea Green and her reign as the first-ever Women’s U.S. Champion.

Watch: Kevin Owens Attacks Cody Rhodes With Banned Move, Triple H Appears After Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cody Rhodes managed to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship at the returning Saturday Night’s Main Event but things didn’t end on a high note for him as he may have been expecting.

The ending of the main event championship match saw the challenger Kevin Owens introducing a chair to the bout after the referee was knocked out. In the end however, Cody managed to use the chair to his own advantage. The American Nightmare won the bout after delivering a Cross Rhodes to his opponent on the chair.

Owens was visibly upset at how things turned out at the event and he attacked the current champion after the show went off air. Kevin delivered the banned piledriver after the broadcast. Per fans in the arena, Cody had to be stretchered out of the ring following the attack.

KO took the Winged Eagle title that was resurrected by Rhodes for the special event after taking Cody out. Triple H came out to confront the former NXT champion on the ramp and the two had an altercation:

What Happened On Saturday Night’s Main Event

Tonight’s show opened with a physical match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn. Unfortunately for Zayn, he lost the bout, continuing his losing streak against the Scottish Psychopath.

The event also featured the finals of the US Women’s Title tournament between Michin and Chelsea Green. Green was the clear favorite to win going into the show and she didn’t disappoint the fans.

It’s clear that the rivalry between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes is far from over after how things unfolded tonight. It’ll be interesting to see when and where the next chapter of this blood feud will be written.

Unfortunate Sami Zayn Streak Continues at Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE fans witnessed another chapter in the ongoing saga of Sami Zayn as he faced Drew McIntyre at the highly anticipated Saturday Night’s Main Event tonight (December 14, 2024).

Despite a valiant effort, Zayn fell short, extending his winless streak against McIntyre in one-on-one matches. This loss marks a significant moment in Zayn’s career, as WWE commentator Michael Cole pointed out that Zayn has never secured a victory over McIntyre in their previous 1-on-1 encounters.

KO was filmed entering the Nassau Colosseum ahead of tonight’s show, with the former Universal Champion sarcastically saying how “emotional” it was going into the building where the first ever SNME show took place.

Jade Cargill Update: Latest on time away from WWE Programming

Jade Cargill has been absent from WWE programming in recent weeks following the backstage attack on her on SmackDown. This hiatus has sparked considerable speculation with different sites reporting differing stories regarding her current status.

The On-Screen Incident

Cargill’s absence was initially explained through a storyline on WWE SmackDown, where she was depicted as the victim of a backstage attack.

This angle served to write her off television, with WWE announcing that she had sustained multiple injuries, including deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, a sprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise, and facial lacerations.

Conflicting Reports on Injury Status

Subsequent reports have offered varying accounts of Cargill’s condition. Some sources within WWE confirmed that she is dealing with legitimate injuries and has been consulting with medical professionals during her time away.

However, other reports suggest that her removal from television may be due to backstage political issues rather than physical ailments.

Current Activities During Hiatus

Adding to these conflicting narratives, PWInsider.com has reported that Cargill is utilizing her time away from WWE programming to engage in outside projects. Additionally, she is currently vacationing in the Bahamas, as confirmed by multiple WWE sources:

“PWInsider.com has been told by several high-up sources that Cargill has been working on some outside projects while written off TV. Several WWE sources confirmed that Cargill is currently vacationing in the Bahamas as well.”

Impact on WWE Programming

Cargill’s absence has necessitated adjustments within WWE’s women’s division. Notably, her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, has continued to compete, and Naomi has stepped in to fill the void left by Cargill’s departure.

The company has yet to make an official announcement regarding the status of the Women’s Tag Team Championships, which Cargill and Belair held prior to her hiatus.

Anticipated Return

As of now, there is no definitive timetable for Jade Cargill’s return to WWE television. The ambiguity surrounding her injury status and the reasons for her absence have left fans eagerly awaiting updates.

Her eventual comeback is highly anticipated, with expectations that she will resume her role as a key player in WWE’s women’s division.
