– CM Punk made reference to the incident that led to Daniel Bryan’s WWE release at Sunday night’s SmackDown live event from Hampton, Virginia. Before his match with Kane. Punk entered the ring and forced ring announcer Tony Chimel into the corner of the ring. Punk grabbed Chimel’s neck tie and looked back and forth between the tie and Chimmel’s face, threatening him.
– Tyler Reks is back on road with the SmackDown crew, losing to Christian at this weekend’s live events. Reks cut heel promos before the matches, referring to himself as “T-Reks.”
– Jim Ross will be spending some time looking at talents at WWE’s developmental territory FCW in Florida soon.
– WWE’s roster page says that Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer have earned their SmackDown “contracts” after “several acts of squared circle chaos.” In what looks to be a cheap shot at TNA, Archer’s bio says he used to wrestle for a “regional promotion in Florida” before joining WWE. As you may know, Archer used to wrestle as Lance Hoyt in TNA, which runs the majority of its shows out of Orlando, Florida.
