WWE has confirmed that Randy Orton will appear on USA Netowrk’s new original show, Shooter show. Orton will have a guest starring role playing James Richards, a former Navy SEAL and leader of a militia group.The cast also features Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Shantel VanSanten and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
The series is based on the best-selling novel “Point of Impact” by Stephen Hunter and a 2007 film adaptation starring Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg joins Emmy Award winner Stephen Levinsion as executive producers on “Shooter.”
The show premieres on the USA Network on Tuesday, July 19th.
