– Tonight’s episode WWE RAW takes place from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The WWE website has announced that the opening match of tonight’s RAW will see WWE Champion The Miz defending against #1 contender and former tag team partner John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
RAW will also feature follow-up on CM Punk appearing to join Nexus at the end of last week’s show. With the Royal Rumble taking place later this month, expect to see Royal Rumble qualifying matches as early as tonight.
The dark match main event will be John Cena & Randy Orton vs. The Miz and CM Punk, with Michael Cole as referee.
– Former WCW champion David Arquette, who appeared on RAW a few weeks ago as a presenter at the 2010 Slammy Awards, checked into rehab on New Years Eve. Arquette will be receiving treatment for alcohol and “other issues,” but not drugs.
His ex-wife Courtney Cox told TMZ.com, “I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him.”
