Update On Ric Flair’s Wedding, Or Was It A “Commitment Ceremony” ?

On Wednesday, we (and other mainstream outlets such as TMZ and People) reported that WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair married his longtime love, Wendy Barlow.

Several of Flair’s friends and family members gathered for what looked to be a wedding ceremony. Notable names in attendance included The Undertaker, Dennis Rodman, Dolph Ziggler, Fit Finlay, Michelle McCool, Conrad Thompson and of course, Charlotte Flair.

However, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, what transpired this week was not actually a wedding – it was a “commitment ceremony.” As a result, Flair and Barlow would not be legally married.
