Road Dogg On The Difference Between Current Era And Attitude Era

Road Dogg elaborates the difference between the current Era and Attitude Era

The comparison between the current era of WWE and the Attitude Era seems like a never-ending thing and the majority believes that the latter was the best time of WWE.

However, there are people who defend the current era too and it appears that former DX Member and former SmackDown head writer Road Dogg is one of them.

Road Dogg was recently a guest on Sean Waltman’s podcast and while talking about the difference between the two times, he said that he thinks the stars today are much more talented as far as the work rate and athleticism goes.

Continuing on the topic, the former WWE Star said that he can’t go back because it was a mess. He explained that he watches matches from the time period every now and then and he sees how there are a lot of things going on at the same time.

According to the Attitude Era Star, it was very hard to delineate the storylines or the story progression back in the day and so he thinks that it was kind of a mess.

Though later in the interview, Road Dogg also talked about the good things about the Attitude Era saying that there were some good characters back in the day and claimed that for the time, it was really cool and a must-see thing.

Apart from this, the former Champion also talked about the advice he gave to new talent, taking classes at the performance center and more. You can check out his full interview in the video below:
