Seth Rollins has provided an encouraging update on the health of former Shield partner Roman Reigns. Rollins spoke with Detroit’s FOX 2 news last week to promote last Friday’s WWE Raw taping, which aired this past Monday night (New Year’s Eve).

Rollins spoke about a wide variety of topics, including WWE’s upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view, feeling good about what he accomplished in 2018 and more. Midway through the interview, the host brought out a young fan named Nolan, who was one the son of one of the show’s directors. Nolan showed off a replica WWE Championship belt that Rollins signed and asked how long it would take for him to become a WWE Superstar one day. Nolan is only 11 years old, so Rollins encouraged him to stay in school and get an education before pursuing pro wrestling.

Nolan then asked about the health of Roman Reigns, who is currently battling a recurrence of leukemia. “Roman is doing great,” said Rollins. “He obviously spent the holidays home with his family and he’s doing really good. He’s in a good position. He’s primed to make a comeback, hopefully sometime sooner rather than later.”

Rollins continued, “At the end of the day, he’s just focusing on getting healthy right now. But I will say that he’s doing good, he’s in good spirits.”
