Once former rivals turned tag team partners were the ingredients for victory for The Undertaker and Roman Reigns.
The unlikely tag team beat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a tag team contest at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, PA.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if The Undertaker will be working the SummerSlam pay-per-view event that takes place on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.
The Undertaker shocked fans by making a surprise appearance on the June 24th episode of RAW when Taker appeared out of nowhere and hit a chokeslam to McMahon.
This was after Reigns versus McIntyre and McMahon in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match was taking place when the two heels started to beatdown Reigns and it ended in a no contest.
Shortly after this return, Dave Meltzer reported in an edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Undertaker’s return for this show was not something that just came up that week based on bad numbers, as it was planned before Super Showdown.
