We now know the next time that Ronda Rousey will wrestle at a WWE PPV event.
POST Wrestling is reporting that the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion is currently scheduled to wrestle at WWE’s Money in the Bank event.
Rousey made her WWE in-ring debut by teaming up with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34 last month.
Although this report did not mention who she would be facing at this upcoming event, it could be against Mickie James. Rousey wrestling at Money in the Bank should be considered a rumor for now until WWE confirms the news.
The reason for this speculation is due to the fact that Rousey will wrestle James at four WWE live events as part of the current UK Tour.
It would make sense for Rousey to wrestle James in her first singles match with WWE as if you recall, WWE had Rousey’s match at Mania rehearsed to the point where each spot was laid out. With Rousey and James working four times together before Money in the Bank, it would allow them time to get a match put together in a structured way.Â
Those dates where Rousey vs. James is advertised to take place include on May 16th in Geneva, Switzerland on May 17th in Vienna, Austria on May 18th in Turin, Italy, and on May 19th in Paris, France
The Money In The Bank pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured.
