Samoa Joe Misses Weekend Live Events

Samoa Joe missed Sunday’s WWE live event in Lubbock, TX or Monday’s live event in Beaumont, TX. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on exactly why he missed these shows but did note in a tweet over the weekend that he planned on working the whole Texas tour. He last competed at Saturday’s live event in Amarillo by losing to WWE Champion AJ Styles in the main event.

WWE made the decision to have The Miz replace him in the headlining matches on Sunday and Monday. As noted, Joe is slated to challenge Styles for the WWE Title at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell PPV event.

Drake Maverick Warns RAW Tag Teams

WWE’s YouTube channel has released this video of Mike Rome conducting an interview with The Authors of Pain and their new manager, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick. The tag team won a squash match on this week’s episode of RAW. In the interview, Drake praised Akam and Rezar’s dominance as well as sent a message to the RAW tag team division.
