Samuel Shaw worked his first match under the NXT banner since signing with the WWE.
The former TNA star did so when he lost to Fabian Aichner in a singles match at the NXT live event on Saturday night in Ocala, FL at the Reserve Pavilion.

Shaw was under contract with TNA (now known as Impact Wrestling) from 2010 – 2015 where he won the Gut Check competition.
He was recently announced as part of the new Performance Center recruits by the WWE and started training at the facility in Orlando, Florida last month. Trevor Lee, 3.0, Elliott Sexton, Nick Comoroto, Rachael Ellering, Karen Q, Jonah Rock, Ricardo Miller and Omari Palmer were also part of this class.
