During an episode of his X-Pac 12360 podcast last month, Waltman noted that he is not officially retiring, but will no longer be taking bookings after April. You can listen to Waltman discuss the issue at at the 7:40 mark in the video below.
“I told my agent, Bill Behrens, I told him to quit taking wrestling bookings in April. At the end of April I’m done taking wrestling bookings for the rest of the year. I am done wrestling independently this year. I am done. I’m not retired. I’m not going, okay this is my retirement. It is just my body is just like, come on.”
Waltman went on to state that he will be done wrestling this year unless he absolutely needs the money or is performing in a WWE ring.
