Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins recently spoke with MLive. During the interview, he was asked about his upcoming Triple Threat Match against Finn Balor and Intercontinental Champion The Miz at WrestleMania 34.
“I’ve now got a big match at WrestleMania. A triple threat match for the Intercontinental Title. For me, my eyes are still on The Miz and the IC title and becoming champion.”
Also, he was asked about his former tag team partner Dean Ambrose suffering an injury and missing out on competing at WrestleMania 34.
Ambrose underwent successful surgery to repair a high-grade triceps tendon in December. Ambrose’s arm injury reportedly took place at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view event back on October 22nd. During that pay-per-view, Ambrose took a bump on a table that didn’t break.
Following the match, his right arm immediately swelled up. While Ambrose didn’t take any time off and continued to work through the pain, things got worse over time. WWE stated Ambrose would be out nine months at the time of his surgery being announced.
“The biggest thing is to try and roll with it and don’t turn away from your feelings,” said Rollins. “It’s going to be ok to feel sad, angry and frustrated, but try not to let yourself be negative. Turn it into a positive and use that as motivation to get back faster.”
