– With the news of Neville and Nia Jax taking time off from WWE, there has been speculation that several other performers are unhappy and are considering asking for their releases. Ring of Honor Champion Cody Rhodes is probably the best recent example of a Superstar leaving WWE and finding success on the independent scene.
In response to a fan asking Dave Meltzer if some of these unhappy WWE Superstars have reached out to Cody Rhodes asking for advice about how to handle their post-WWE careers, Meltzer confirmed on Twitter that some talents do want out, but couldn’t confirm they are getting advice from Cody:
