This week’s episode of SmackDown Live from Dayton, Ohio did 2.597 million viewers, way up from last week’s 2.072.

The show featured fallout from Money in the Bank, including Daniel Bryan returning to address the controversy surrounding the Women’s MITB match. The 25% jump in viewership makes it the most-watched episode of SmackDown since the Superstar Shakeup back in April.

Smackdown was #1 on cable in the 18-49 demographic. It ranked #4 for the night on cable after not even finishing in the top 10 for the last few weeks.

Despite the spike in viewership, attendance was low, with estimates of approximately 3,100 fans in the arena. According to live reports, arena staff had fans move to the “hard camera” side of the venue so they could make it look passable on television (see below).
