A new match will be announced for Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view event during tonight’s episode of SmackDown (which has already aired in Australia) – this Sunday, Kofi Kingston will take on Bray Wyatt.
An angle setting up the match took place on Monday’s Raw, as Wyatt and his henchmen interrupted Kingston’s victory celebration over Fandango, prompting the four-time Intercontinental Champion to seize a steel chair.
The updated line-up for Sunday’s pay-per-view event taking place in Buffalo, New York at the First Niagara Center is as follows:
-
Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the Vacant WWE Championship
-
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam (Battleground Hardcore Rules)
-
CM Punk vs. Ryback
-
Divas Champion AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella
-
Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
-
Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth
-
Kofi Kingston vs. Bray Wyatt
-
Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow (Kickoff Match)
SEScoops.com will have Live Results of WWE Battleground this Sunday night. The coverage will begin at 7:30pm E.T. with the WWE Battleground Kickoff Show, and will continue throughout the entire duration of the pay-per-view.
