Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that discussions about a significant WWE debut have emerged regarding the WWE Royal Rumble.
Jade Cargill was one of the names considered for the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match. Despite being signed months ago, she has not made her debut in WWE thus far.
She was present at rehearsals for the Royal Rumble match on Thursday.
Fightful Select has learned that Jade Cargill was among the names discussed for the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match. Cargill was signed months ago, but has yet to make her debut in WWE as of yet.
Exclusive Insight On Jade Cargill’s WWE Debut
I asked about Jade Cargill’s Royal Rumble status earlier this week. In response, I was told that WWE has a lot of things planned for Cargill. Although it was not confirmed to me that she will be in the Royal Rumble match, her presence at the rehearsals on Thursday certainly paints that picture.
WWE signed Jade Cargill, and made a statement as she showed up during the Fastlane kickoff show a short time later. Then she wasn’t seen at all, except for short cameos during RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. She was backstage for most of those brief interactions, never revealing her entrance music or seeing her actually take to the ring.
After Cargill’s debut for the company, I was told that there was “a ton of buzz about how professional Jade Cargill was backstage, how impressive she is up close, how well she fit in, and how quickly she did that.”
The 2024 Royal Rumble match may see Jade Cargill make her long-awaited in-ring debut for the company. The former TBS Champion could definitely shake things up in Tropicana Field.
