WWE taped the February 18th episode of SmackDown in Ontario, CA at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Here’s what happened at the taping:
– Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Byron Saxton are on commentary. According to correspondents at tonight’s tapings, Mauro Ranallo is not there.
– Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio def. Kalisto, Sin Cara and Dolph Ziggler. Kevin Owens was on commentary and distracted Ziggler, costing him the match.
– Sasha Banks def. Tamina Snuka via submission with the Banks Statement. Tamina and Naomi attacked Sasha after the match, but Becky Lynch makes the save.
– Chris Jericho def. The Miz via submission with the Walls of Jericho. After the match, Jericho accepts AJ Styles’ challenge for a match at Fastlane on Sunday.
– Charlotte def. Natalya via submission with the Figure Eight. After the match, Brie Bella comes out and they brawl to the back.
– Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose def The Dudley Boyz via disqualification. During the match, Brock Lesnar attacked Ambrose and the bell was rang. Paul Heyman also came out. Reigns tried to spear Lesnar for the save, but accidentally hit Ambrose. Ambrose then tried to hit Dirty Deeds on Reigns but Reigns countered and hit a Samoan Drop. Lesnar hit a F5 on Reigns. Triple H’s music hit and out came the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to the stage. Triple H and Lesnar stare each other down as SmackDown ends.
