The journey of bringing the WWE NXT UK brand to the more fans has continued as the company held TV tapings on Saturday from Hull, England at the Bonus Arena.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when these shows will air but WWE is likely to start to air these episodes on their streaming service, WWE Network, shortly. Here are the spoilers:
NXT UK TV Tapings Spoilers
There is a contract signing between WWE UK Champion WALTER and Joe Coffey. This is where WALTER stated if Gallus defends the NXT UK Tag Titles against Imperium later in the show and Ilja Dragunov faces Alexander Wolfe in a no-DQ match then he’ll defend his title against Coffey at NXT TakeOver. The segment ends with Coffey getting power bombed through the table by Imperium.
Kay Lee Ray defeated Isla Dawn. Post-match, it was announced that Kay Lee Ray will defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Toni Storm and Piper Niven at TakeOver: Blackpool II.
Trent Seven was scheduled to face Michael May, but Eddie Dennis attacks May prior to the match.
Ridge Holland defeated Jack Starz
Gallus vs. Imperium for the NXT UK Tag Teams Titles ends in a no-contest after Grizzled Young Vets took the titles. A brawl breaks out once Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews stop them.
Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams defeated Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley
Trent Seven cuts a promo where he calls out Eddie Dennis for his attack. Dennis hits Seven with the microphone and says, “I’ll see you at TakeOver.”
Jinny (with Jazzy Gabert) defeated Amale. Post-match, Gabert attacks Amale
Tyler Bate defeated Noam Dar. Jordan Devlin taunted Bate afterward.
Dave Mastiff defeated Kona Reeves
Toni Storm cuts a promo with Piper Niven about their upcoming title match against Kay Lee Ray. Storm and Niven end up brawling.
Kassius Ohno defeated Ligero
Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter defeated Dorian Mak and Riddick Moss
Ilja Dragunov defeated Alexander Wolfe – No DQ Match
