Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall Of Famer Sting ended his in-ring career following his loss to Seth Rollins at the Night Of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) on September 20, 2015. During the match, he took a bad bump that caused multiple neck injuries that were considered career ending. He was later inducted into the Hall Of Fame as a member of the 2016 class.
Sting recently experimented with Facebook Live on his official page and made a few brief comments. He claimed that he still can wrestle, however, he just isn’t going to:
“I can still wrestle,” Sting said. “I can still wrestle! I’m just not going to.”
He also stated that he would consider having an on-air role similar to that of Kurt Angle in WWE, as he serves as the General Manager of Monday Night RAW:
“Yeah, I might consider something like that,” Sting said. “Good to see Kurt back by the way.”
