As of last week, WWE had not yet pitched anything to Steve Austin for WrestleMania 32. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE doesn’t have any plans for The Texas Rattlesnake at the event yet, but it’s very likely he’ll be there in some capacity. Austin has indicated he’ll be in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend.
Dave Meltzer reports that WWE sources expect the company will come up with something for Austin to get him in front of the crowd, but he won’t be wrestling.
In January, Austin said WWE had pitched an idea to him that he was excited about. According to Meltzer’s report, that idea must have been scrapped for reasons unknown.
