According to the Miz, he will not face Daniel Bryan at this year’s SummerSlam. Bryan challenged Miz to a match at the biggest event of the summer but Miz told him this week on Smackdown that elite talent like him can’t just be goaded into a match.
Miz just recently responded conclusively that he will not face Bryan at SummerSlam. He posted the following to his Instagram:
The Miz vs Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam Not Happening
“I’ve heard his challenge, I’ve seen your questions, and my answer is no, no, no,” Miz said.
“I deserve better than a match with Daniel Bryan,” Miz continued. “So, the answer is no.”
Last week, Daniel Bryan also crashed the premiere party for Miz’s reality TV show “Miz and Mrs.” Bryan will likely have some response to the Miz next week on Smackdown.
