The National Enquirer Alleges Possible Perjury Charge Against Hulk Hogan

The National Enquirer ran a sensationalistic story on Saturday claiming Hulk Hogan could be thrown in jail for perjury.

While that might be a bit of a stretch, the story does claim that court transcripts show that Hogan (Terry Bollea) allegedly made conflicting statements to the F.B.I. and in deposition to lawyers for Gawker.com.

According to the transcripts Gawker had obtained, they showed that during a hearing on July 2nd, Gawker’s attorney, Seth Berlin, told the judge that he had learned Hogan made statements under oath that were directly at odds with each other.

The story is loaded with a lot of “ifs” and there does not appear to be anything imminent at this point.

Previously, it had been reported about certain contradictory testimony Hogan made previously and the story mostly rehashes previously released news.
