Title Match Added To Extreme Rules, Updated Card

The Usos will defend their titles at Extreme Rules

WWE has announced that The Usos will be defending their SmackDown tag team championships against Street Profits at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV.

Last week’s Super SmackDown featured a tag team championship match between these two teams in the main event of the show. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman came to the ringside mid-way through the match.

It looked like the Street Profits would win the match when the Tribal Chief rushed to the ring and attacked Montez Ford. He locked Ford into a Guillotine.

The disqualification caused by Reigns’ run-in resulted in The Street Profits being declared the winner. Though the Usos remained the tag team champions.

Updated Extreme Rules Match Card

Now WWE has announced that we will get a rematch between these two at the upcoming PPV. This is the fifth match that has been announced for the show. Below is the updated card for the event:

  • Universal Championship Match: “The Demon” Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns
  • Raw Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte Flair
  • SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch
  • WWE United States Championship Match: Sheamus vs. Damian Priest
  • SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits vs. The Usos

Extreme Rules this year will take place from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, September 26.
