Titus O’Neil and Batista have been good friends for several years.
Thus, while doing a recent interview with the Gorilla Position podcast this week, O’Neil revealed that Batista was concerned about his return and possibly last match inside of the squared circle.
He takes part in a No Holds Barred Match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. Batista was concerned about being rusty in the ring as it’s been a few years since he worked a match.
However, O’Neil assured him that he will be fine as he’s in the ring with Triple H and it’s at the biggest event of the year for WWE.
“He was a little concerned about being rusty,” Titus revealed. “But he’s in there with a professional like Triple H and they’ve gone to battle several times before. It’s on the grandest stage of them all, but he’s competed at this level on numerous occasions, and I think once he gets over the pre-match jitters and gets into the action, I think it’s going to be one hell of a fight. He’s definitely going in to try and end the career of Triple H.”
WWE presents the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium that will air on the WWE Network.
