– WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino made a rare appearance at the Chicago Wizard World event.
Bob Mulrenin, attended the event in person and said, “Bruno’s relationship with his fans is quite unique, as he spans many generations. It’s always an honor to be in his presence, and this time was no different. The way Bruno shakes everyone’s hand, looks them in the eye, and sincerely thanks them for their support makes me look back fondly on his days as the face of the pro wrestling business!”

– TNA has put live events on hiatus and recently released several office staff members, according to the Talk Is TNA podcast. Some of the releases were from TNA’s live events department but it’s also believed that more talent is leaving.
After this weekend’s tapings in North Carolina & Virginia, TNA has tapings next week in Bethlehem, PA. Bound For Glory takes place in October from Tokyo, Japan. After that, there are no other TNA live events scheduled until the annual UK tour in January.
