Trademark Filed For Hulk Hogan’s “Thunderlips” Character From Rocky III
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan gained worldwide recognition for his role as Thunderlips, a pro wrestling champion who battled Rocky Balboa in the 1982 film Rocky III.
Last week, a company called Big Blondes, LLC filed a trademark for the name Thunderlips.
“Entertainment, namely, services rendered by a professional wrestler in the nature of personal appearances, wrestling matches and acting.
The name(s), portrait(s), and/or signature(s) shown in the mark identifies Terry Bollea, whose consent(s) to register is made of record.”
Big Blondes is the company that owns the trademark for “Hogan’s Beach” in Florida.
