2K Games has released the trailer for Daniel Bryan’s 2K Showcase that will be the story-driven campaign mode honoring his career in the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game.
The mode will feature vignettes with historic WWE footage alongside Bryan’s own words that will reflect on his most epic career challenges and highlights while in the WWE.
The game will be released on October 9, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As noted, WWE Champion AJ Styles will be on the cover of the game while former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio and current WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will be featured as the pre-order bonus characters. Bryan is slated to team up with his wife, Brie Bella, to take on Maryse and The Miz in a mixed tag team match at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network.
As noted, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bryan just signed his new contract as they’ve agreed on terms. He signed it a few days ago but it’s not official since WWE hadn’t signed it, but that’s a formality and it should be official very soon.
