WWE got a lot of attention a few weeks back with the announcement that Starrcade will be returning as a special SmackDown Live event on November 25th from Greensboro, North Carolina.
Paying homage to the original Starrcade back in 1983, the show will feature two Steel Cage match main events, with Jinder Mahal defending the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura and Charlotte challenging Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Correction: Tickets for Starrcade went on sale this past Friday and Ticketmaster. As seen below, tickets are currently not available for Section 109, which is typically where the ‘hard camera’ is located. We improperly reported this as an indication that WWE would not be televising the event on the WWE Network, but we have no confirmation whether those tickets were sold or if the section was blocked off for WWE production. We’ve reached out to WWE for clarification and will follow up with an update if we hear anything.
Thanks to longtime friend of the site Noah Mark for pointing this out.
