– The new Minnesota Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota is said to be the front-runner to get WrestleMania 33 in 2017. The stadium, which is scheduled to open next year, is expected to hold around 63,000 fans for a WrestleMania event and has a retractable roof so the weather will not be an issue. While they are the favorite, they are not considered to be a “lock” at this point, as other cities are still in the running, such as Orlando and Philadelphia.
