– WWE is reportedly paying a lot of money to Twitter, believed to be in the ‘six figure’ range, to be a part of the new features introduced by the social media service last week. WWE will be one of a few select partners that will be able to integrate, audio, video and visual media within tweets.

– With the WWE Network launch still a few months away, the latest word out of WWE is that the company is considering making it a paid premium channel, similar to HBO or Showtime, where subscribers pay a monthly fee. Instead of companies like Comcast and Time Warner having to pay WWE rights fees to carry the channel, WWE could instantly begin making money from subscriber fees.
