– According to sources backstage in WWE, there were many changes to the SummerSlam script in the hours leading up to the show. In an effort to prevent leaks on Reddit.com and wrestling news sites, only a select few WWE staffers knew about the main event finish before it happened.
– Check out the following video footage from after WWE SummerSlam went off the air. The video quality is pretty crappy, but you can hear the fans chanting “Bullsh*t” as Daniel Bryan stands on the stage.
