WWE Diva Naomi was injured during her match with Aksana last night on RAW. There was a spot during the match where Naomi was on the canvas and Aksana drilled her knee into Naomi’s face. She appeared to be injured and was holding her eye for the remainder of the match.
WWE.com has posted an update on her status, with WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann stating that she appears to have a bruised orbital bone or a bruised eye socket, as well as a scratch on her cornea.
“We did a full eye examination and a head examination as well as a neurological examination; no signs of concussion,” said Dr. Amann. “We’re going to have her use ice and Tylenol and check her out again tomorrow.””
WWE expects a quick recovery. Naomi tweeted this photo of her eye after the injury on RAW:
