New Day member Xavier Woods appeared to suffered a knee injury at Monday night’s SmackDown live event from Texarkana, AK.
During a tag match that involved SmackDown tag team champions The Usos and Breezango, the injury occured when Woods went for a jumping DDT and his knee buckled. This clip of the incident has surfaced online:
The referee threw up the dreaded “X” symbol and the match was cut short when one of the Usos rolled up Kofi Kingston for a quick finish. Woods seemed to be in pain and was helped to the back by Kofi, Big E and WWE Dr. Chris Amann.
According to a source backstage at SmackDown, Woods is undergoing an evaluation today to determine the extent of the injury. After the show, Woods tweeted:
