Last week, both shows were down as expected as they went up against game seven of the MLB World Series Game on FOX that drew 23.013 million on FOX.
This marks the closest margin of viewership between the two shows to date. NXT and AEW went up an NBA game on ESPN that drew 1.491 million viewers.
WWE and AEW will attempt to increase viewership with next week’s episodes, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in. AEW will have its post-show of Dynamite for the Full Gear pay-per-view event.
