WWE has made a change to this week’s episode of 205 Live.
The show was supposed to be taped along with RAW and SmackDown this coming Friday afternoon in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena. It was also supposed to feature stars from the NXT UK brand as they were supposed to clash with the regular 205 Live stars.
However, those plans have changed as WWE announced on Monday evening that this week’s WWE 205 Live episode will air live from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida on Friday evening.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on plans for this week’s 205 Live episode as no matches or segments have been announced. WWE is teasing that we may see a new challenger for NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush.
It should be noted that despite it airing live, the show will still air at 10 pm ET on the WWE Network after the taped SmackDown episode goes off the air on FOX. You can see WWE’s announcement here:

For some fans, this will come as a welcomed change even if it’s for just one week as, since the launch of the 205 Live brand, people have been wanting to see the cruiserweight show return to where WWE brought back the division.
WWE taped the Cruiserweight Classic at Full Sail University, which was heavily praised for its great in-ring action and crowd reactions from those who were in attendance.
