At Saturday’s WWE Business Partner Summit, Triple H announced on Saturday that the United Kingdom Championship Tournament is returning in June. The 2-night event will emanate from London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 18 and 19.
The first WWE UK Championship Tournament was held in January 2017 from Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom and aired live on WWE Network. 19-year-old Tyler Bate was crowned the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion.
Several of the wrestlers who participated in the inaugural tournament went on to sign WWE deals, including reigning champion Pete Dunne.
