WWE Cancels Scheduled Dark Main Event On Raw
WWE had advertised a big 6 men tag team match as the dark main event for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw but the company canceled this clash later on.
The bout was expected to see a returning Braun Strowman teaming up with AJ Styles and the Universal Champion Seth Rollins to face Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre.
However, it appears that they believed that the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston, made possible due to their new Wild Card Rule, was enough to keep the fans in the arena until the end and send them home happy.
Unaired IIconics Segment
While the current Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics did not appear on the broadcast of this week’s episode of Raw, they were featured in a dark segment during the show.
The duo came out during a commercial break and they trash talked the local crowd of Cincinnati, mocking them for the bee infestation that forced the Cincinnati Reds vs. San Francisco Giants game to be delayed:
So far there is no word yet on if the IIconics will defend their tag team championships at the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV and with the card that is shaping up it’s possible that the duo ends up not being a part of the show.
