WWE Confirms Date For Next NXT Takeover

WWE has confirmed via a press release that the next NXT Takeover event has been rescheduled and it will be taking place next month on Saturday, June 1:

“The next installment of NXT’s critically acclaimed TakeOver series will take place Saturday, June 1. The event will stream live, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network.”

While never announced officially, the planned Takeover was originally expected to take place on June 7th; however, they were forced to move things around due the upcoming Saudi Arabian PPV.

After considering a number of dates for their return to the Middle Eastern country, the promotion decided to secure the same June 7th date for the show.

This forced them to reschedule a couple of events planned for the same weekend, including the Backlash PPV and the next NXT Takeover special.

Though so far they haven’t confirmed the other details such as the place and venue of the show and the company has instead announced that Triple H will be revealing more information on the event from his social media accounts this Monday.

Although while the company appears to be still putting together this event, they have already started building towards it on NXT TV. You can check out the spoiler results of the latest NXT tapings featuring the build up for several upcoming matches at this link.
