Kickoff Show:
Big Cass confronted the Dudley Boyz and beat both Bubba and D-Von down.
Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin (No Disqualification)
This was a great back and forth match with Corbin getting the pin fall via the End of Days. The turning point in the match was a brutal low-blow by Corbin on Ziggler.

Main Card:
The Usos vs Gallows & Anderson (Tornado Tag Team Match)
The New Jersey crowd was heavily rooting for Gallows and Anderson. Â In the beginning of the match, Jey Uso was being dominated by both Gallows and Anderson. The Usos made things interesting, however tonight was not their night. Finally, Gallows and Anderson get a win over the Usos.

United States Championship Match: Kalisto (c) vs Rusev
The announcer’s were stressing that Kalisto was fighting throughout the match. This was amplified when Rusev slammed Kalisto on the outside of the ring. Kalisto was being attended to by the referee to see if he was alright, but Rusev wouldn’t stop trying to attack him. Rusev locked in the Accolade and Kalisto had no choice but to tap out. Rusev is once again United States Champion and is back to being a prominent Superstar in the WWE.
Best thing that can happen for Rusev is Cena returns challenging him & Rusev wins! Credibility & gaining back that momentum! #ExtremeRules

Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs The Vaudevillians
Xavier Woods and Big E wrestled for the New Day, but Kofi Kingston played a pivotal role in the match. While the referee was distracted, Kofi Kinston hit Simon Gotch with a Trouble in Paradise. This led to Xavier Woods getting the pin fall and the New Day retaining their Tag Team Championships. There wasn’t anything special about this match and it was over pretty quickly.

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn vs Cesaro
Within the first two seconds of the match, Sami Zayn hit the Helluva Kick on Kevin Owens. Â Eventually, Kevin Owens got back into the match and beat the hell out of Sami Zayn for a while. This match was very entertaining and deserved the “This is Awesome!” chants heard throughout the crowd. At one point, it looked like the Miz was going to retain the title when he hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Cesaro, but he kicked out at the last second. Cesaro got the Miz in the Sharp Shooter and he tapped out, but the referee was distracted by Maryse. This match was so entertaining, the crowd even broke out in a “Yes!” in the middle of the match. Sami Zayn hit the Helluva Kick on Cesaro, but Kevin Owens broke up the pin. This lit a fire under Zayn and he attacked Kevin Owens. Zayn became so angry at Owens, that he completely lost track of the Miz. While Zayn was punching Owens, the Miz crawled in the ring and pinned Cesaro to retain his Intercontinental Championship.

Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose (Asylum Match)
This was a pretty slow match and the crowd did not appear to be into it at all. At one point the crowd was chanting “We Want Rollins!”. The crowd got back into it when Dean Ambrose poured thumb tacks all over the ring. Jericho went for the Code Breaker, but Ambrose caught him and slammed him on the thumbtacks. Immediately after, Dean Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on Jericho for the victory. Jericho’s back and arms were covered with thumbtacks. It may have been slow at the beginning, but this match turned out to be more entertaining than expected. The potted planted was the only item left hanging from the Ambrose Asylum.

Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte (c) vs Natalya (Submission Match)
It was looking like Natalya was finally going to get the title reign she’s been seeking. Natalya had the Sharp Shooter locked in and there was nowhere for Charlotte to go. Then, Ric Flair’s music hits and someone walks out wearing Flair’s robe and a gigantic wig. If it were Ric Flair, the match would have been declared over because he was banned from ringside and Natalya would be the new champion. However, it was not Ric Flair, it was Dana Brooke. Dana Brooke distracted Natalya, which allowed Charlotte to lock the Figure Eight in. Natalya had no choice but to tap out and Charlotte once again escaped with her title. After the match, Charlotte, Ric Flair and Dana Brooke celebrated in the ring. Dana Brooke then proceeded to do quite possibly the worst Flair strut of all time.
Let's be honest..Dana Brooke dressed as Ric Flair is better than the alternative… #WWE #ExtremeRules pic.twitter.com/WJQyQXIIXN

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs AJ Styles
The crowd was overwhelmingly in the favor of AJ Styles and booed Reigns every chance they could. The two performers spent about 2 minutes at the beginning of the match fighting in the ring, then began fighting all over the arena. AJ Styles went flying through an announcer’s table and the crowd immediately chanted “You Still Suck!” at Reigns. Roman Reigns responded by Power Bombing AJ Styles through the Spanish announce table. Gallows and Anderson interfered and hit the Boot of Doom on Roman Reigns. The Usos came out and battled with Gallows and Anderson. Roman Reigns kicked out of the Styles Clash twice, once with the help of the Usos. The match ended with AJ Styles going for the Phenominal Forearm but Reigns hitting the Spear on him while he was in mid-air.
As Roman Reigns was celebrating in the ring, he was attacked from behind by Seth Rollins. The crowd went crazy as Rollings hit Reigns with the Pedigree. The show went off-air with Rollins raising the WWE Title and the crowd loudly applauding.
