Three big matches are locally advertised for Fastlane, the final WWE pay-per-view event before WrestleMania 35:
- Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
- WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles
- Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins
WWE often takes full advantage of the “card subject to change” disclaimer, so it’s possible they will go in a different direction with at least one of these matches. However, these matches indicate where WWE’s storyline plans are headed in the months ahead.
As the final stop before WrestleMania, Fastlane is typically a consequential show that sets the stage for WWE’s biggest event of the year. We already have two matches set for WM35. Men’s Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, while women’s Rumble winner is currently advertised to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. You can read below how that match is likely to change. The Lynch vs. Flair match at Fastlane could very well set the stage for that change.
Fastlane takes place Sunday, March 10th at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
