The following are results from the WWE live event in Brooklyn, New York. The event was held on Sunday, September 8, 2013.
-Dean Ambrose defeated Rob Van Dam to retain the WWE United States Championship. Great way to open the show. Great match. Crowd was explosively hot for Van Dam. In the end, Ambrose picked up the win to retain his title.
-Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas defeated Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. NXT stars Zayn and Dallas worked this match, and the crowd didn’t really seem to know who either guy was, with the slight exception of a select group of die-hard fans who were aware of Zayn, but not Dallas so much. At one point a loud “Ole!” chant broke out, which was started by the die-hard group of Zayn fans and picked up by the rest of the crowd.
-Brie Bella and Natalya were voted by fans to have a Dance Contest. As usual, the heel attacked the face when she started her dancing, which led to an actual match.
-Natalya defeated Brie Bella. Match was kept relatively short, although the match mixed with the dance-off had both Divas in the ring longer than most fans would have liked. In the end, Natalya picked up the submission victory over Brie with the Sharpshooter.
-CM Punk defeated Curtis Axel in a Non-Title match. Same stuff here that these two, along with Paul Heyman, have been doing at every show. Title match changes to non-title, etc. Punk got the win. Crowd was very into Punk, as you would expect.
-Tyson Kidd defeated Drew McIntyre. This match was actually kept pretty short. Kidd got a decent reaction coming out. He didn’t do too much during the match, compared to Kidd of old, but did enough to pick up the win here.
-Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins defeated The Usos. Decent little match. They actually got a decent amount of time, too. Crowd dug both teams, with a slight edge in favortism to The Shield. In the end, Reigns and Rollins picked up the win to retain their WWE Tag-Team Championships.
-Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton via Disqualification. The DQ came when The Shield interfered, causing Orton to be DQ’d. Big Show, who was forced to sit at ringside during the match, and warned not to interfere by Brad Maddox, came in to help Bryan after the DQ.
