Local ABC 6 out of Philadelphia recently contacted World Wrestling Entertainment regarding recent online rumors that Lincoln Financial Field was being considered as a potential future host for a WrestleMania event.
WWE issued the following statement in response to ABC 6:
“Philadelphia is one of the many cities that has expressed an interest in hosting a future WrestleMania. An announcement regarding WrestleMania 31 will be made early next year.”
