
WWE announced the return of the King Of The Ring tournament during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The company has now confirmed the 16 participants who will compete to be crowned king.
The announcement for the returning tournament was made through a tweet during the show and it was revealed that King Of The Ring will return to Raw next week.
It was later indicated during the broadcast of the show that the opening matches will take place on next week’s Raw but the tournament will continue over the next few weeks.
The promotion then confirmed which stars will be participating in the 16-men tournament and the announced names includes members from both Raw and SmackDown roster.
One interesting name to have been announced for it is Baron Corbin, who has been away from action since the July 15th episode of Raw.
Next week’s episode of Raw will take place from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
