One WWE main roster star was in action at a recent NXT show that saw him put his championship up for grabs. That star is WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak.
He did so when WWE held an NXT live event on Thursday in Casselberry, FL at the Orlando Live. At the show, Gulak put the title on the line when he took on Jordan Myles and successfully retained the championship.
NXT Star Returns From Injury After Almost A year
Gulak beat Tony Nese and Akira Tozawa to become the new champion at the Stomping Grounds show that aired on WWE’s streaming service from Tacoma, WA at the Tacoma Dome.
WWE presents the SummerSlam pay-per-view event on August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario. As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce his opponent at this show.
