WWE Making Huge Money Off New Programming, Former WWE Star Now A Teacher

– Based on how much WWE was receiving for Superstars when it aired on television, it’s believed that WWE is making approximately $100,000 per week for the new WWE Main Event show on Ion.

WWE is also making around $175,000 per week for the additional hour of WWE RAW and around $75,000 per week for Saturday Morning Slam.

While the argument can be made that WWE is in danger of over-exposing its product (especially with the third hour of RAW), you can see why it would be difficult for WWE, a public company, to turn away an additional $350,000 per week. For those keeping score at home, that’s over $18 million per year, sucka!

– Former WWE superstar Caylen Croft, who teamed with Trent Baretta as the Dude Busters, is now an elementary school teacher at Florida’s Hillsborough County school district. Croft, real name Kris Pavone, recently spoke to Tampa Bay Online about his transition from the ring to the classroom.

“Teaching kids is a completely whole new world,” he said. “I absolutely love it.” He taught at Lopez Elementary last year and is at Seminole Heights Elementary this year.
